April Worship at Emanuel: 10:00 a.m. – English Worship; 12:15 a.m. Spanish Worship. All are welcome.
Talking about Jesus’ death and resurrection always creates more questions than answers. Asking faith questions is a good thing. Because of the fire devastating the church house on Emanuel Lutheran Church’s property on Easter Monday (4/2/2018), the questions of life after death have become very real for this congregation. Our sanctuary, education wing, and fellowship hall was not touched by the fire so we continue to worship and do our Food Pantry outreach — serving hundreds in the neighborhood. Jesus is with us in life and death AND as we discover new life in and through Christ’s resurrection. With Christ, we have: New Life! New Vision! New Hope!
